Menu plan week of June 28th and July 5th

It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the end of June, getting ready to start July.  My, how time is flying!!!

Here’s my attempt at another 2-week menu plan.  🙂

Typical Breakfasts :

Typical Lunches:

  • Loaded Salad
  • Almond Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, carrots and celery
  • Turkey Sandwiches, carrots and celery
  • Leftovers

Typical Snacks:

  • Fruit, Granola and Yogurt
  • Smoothies (My favorite these days involves coconut milk and berries.  I’ll try to post it soon.)

And here is the dinner plan:

Monday (Grocery Shopping as a Family)

Dinner Out


Portobello Burgers with potato fries and steamed broccoli


Chicken Mirabella with Brown Rice


Gluten-Free Pasta with Salad and Steamed Broccoli

Friday (Mom’s coming – Going to airport Saturday)

Chicken Tortilla Soup (from swap) with avocado, chips, cheese


Eat Out/Breakfast for Dinner/Leftovers

Sunday (4th of July – Lunch/Dinner at Jim and Anna’s)

Bringing Pasta Salad and Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake/Cupcakes (with a secret!)

Monday (Half day at work, Care Group Cookout)

Bringing Pasta Salad and Bottled Water


Black Bean Burgers, Potato Fries, and Steamed Broccoli


Two-Bean Chili with Avocado

Thursday (Midwife appt at 11am)

Seared Salmon with Green Sauce, Crispy Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli

Friday (Mom’s Birthday)

Saturday (Pick Mom up from Airport)
